At Chorus Studio, we believe in the transformative power of music. Our mission is to cultivate an inclusive, creative, and uplifting community by providing meaningful music experiences to singers of all levels.

From our four contemporary choirs - YVR Pop Choir, B-Roll, Pacific Soul, and Spotlight - to our professional private voice lessons, we strive to be an inspiring, healing, and uplifting space where people come together to sing and make a difference.
​
Since 2017, our choirs have raised over $98,000 for local charities, including the BC Crisis Centre, Wildlife Rescue of BC, and the Downtown Eastside Women's Centre. We believe that the magic in joining together with like-minded, creative people to sing and do good in the community fuels our studio, members, staff, and audiences with positive energy that lasts long after a choir rehearsal or concert.

RAINCITY HOUSING
For more than four decades, RainCity Housing has put government funds and generous donor dollars to good use to create, implement, and manage housing and support programs that sustain relationships, strengthen communities, and make change for people experiencing homelessness and mental health, trauma and substance use issues, throughout BC's lower mainland.

RainCity Housing provides people opportunities to step out of survival mode, focus on things that are important to them, and strengthen connections.
​
RainCity Housing offers a range of housing and support services, including:

transitional housing

long-term housing
-
housing for women-led families
-
outreach based housing programs​

The organization's first priority is to provide a home to those in need. Moving into a new environment can be stressful for anyone, and moving inside from an experience of homelessness can also be stressful. RainCity works to get to know each person and focus on strengthening connections and building community. They strive to offer people choice in terms of housing and support. "First we listen, then learn, so we can continuously adapt our housing and supports, either by expanding current approaches to new communities or developing new ways of working.”
