Richard Pinto is a professional singer and guitarist. His love of music began at the age of 5 with classical training on the cello. The music bug stuck and his musical journey progressed to the voice, guitar, bass, drums and piano. Richard holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music from the University of Victoria.
Richard is a busy musician, actively performing all around the Lower Mainland. He is a resident musician for The Donnelly Group and is a featured soloist in YVR Pop Choir and B-Roll. In 2018, Richard was chosen to be a featured soloist at Total Vocal with Deke Sharon (Pitch Perfect, The Sing-Off). The sold-out performance was held at David Geffin Hall in Lincoln Centre in New York City. Richard is the music director for Pacific Soul Choir, an acoustic vocal ensemble that sings the perfect blend of Motown, 90's R&B and contemporary soul.
Richard is heavily influenced and inspired by Lauryn Hill, D’angelo, Beyonce and Frank Ocean. He is trained in The Connection Method and teaches voice and guitar to students of all levels.
