What I Wish Every Singer Knew
Learning to sing is no different than learning an instrument. At first, there will be more bad notes than good ones, and that is a sign of progress. Be open to new feelings and experiment with an open mind. Learn to love the cracks, the flips, the flat notes, and the sharp notes. A positive outlook will help you advance faster!
Why I Teach
I teach because I have always loved the craft of music. As someone who continues to study old theory textbooks for fun, I can’t get enough of the inner workings of music! I am also fascinated by vocal science and teaching allows me to learn more about singing every day. Also, it is very rewarding to use that curiosity to guide someone else to be able to express themselves freely the way they have always wanted to.
