The Story Behind Chorus Studio

No big investors. No fancy launch.

Just one voice teacher and her student, pouring their life savings into a shared dream. Since then, Chorus Studio has grown to 1,500 active singers and over $100,000 raised for local charities.

Giving Back

When you sing with Chorus Studio, you’re not just growing your voice. You’re creating real change.

Since 2017, our adult choirs in Vancouver have raised over $100,000 for local organizations like the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre, Vancouver Aboriginal Health Society, BC Wildlife Rescue, and the BC Crisis Centre.

Even during the pandemic, our community kept showing up — turning online concerts and singing challenges into collective impact. Your voice can be part of that, too.

The Team

It’s not every day you find pro-level training, joyful community, and logistics that run like a high-functioning Asian household — but that’s kinda our thing.

Chorus Studio is proudly founded and owned by two Chinese Canadian women, and our values of care, excellence, and connection are built into everything we do.

Our music directors and voice teachers are working performers and some of the most respected singers and musicians in Vancouver. They arrange custom parts, teach solid vocal technique, and coach style with nuance.

Behind the scenes, our support team keeps everything sharp, kind, and organized so you can focus on singing.

"Chorus Studio seems to be, first and foremost, a community.  I feel incredibly lucky to have discovered this place, and inspired by the intentional leadership that makes it what it is.

It's so evident they've created a beautiful, supportive, welcoming, warm, friendly community with instructors who are down-to-Earth, relatable, empathetic, and super knowledgable."
