Rebecca Lam Kania

Rebecca Lam Kania (she/her) is the founder and director of Chorus Studio, a Vancouver-based vocal studio known for its dynamic pop choirs, professional voice training, and inclusive community.

With over 20 years of experience as a vocal educator, she has helped hundreds of singers, speakers, and performers unlock confidence, artistry, and vocal freedom. Her leadership has transformed a single choir into a vibrant studio of 1,500+ members, raising over $100,000 for local charities through music.

Rebecca began her career as a certified Speech Level Singing instructor, training under Seth Riggs (coach to Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder), and later mentoring other voice teachers internationally. She went on to study with world-renowned experts including Wendy Parr (Sara Bareilles, P!NK), RAab Stevenson (Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Brandi Carlile), and Tom Jackson (Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes).

Rebecca's clients include recording artists signed to Universal and Interscope, and actors featured on Netflix, Disney, Apple+, and Paramount. She has delivered masterclasses and trainings at international events such as the Institute for Vocal Advancement Conference in Las Vegas, the European Vocal Camp, and other professional intensives for singers and voice teachers.

After two decades in the field, Rebecca developed The Connection Method, a complete training approach that bridges technical skill and emotional expression. She now focuses on mentoring the next generation of voice teachers and music directors through her work at Chorus Studio.
